Welcome to our holiday home. It is a sweet, four bedroom, Victorian house - set in the heart of Windermere in the Lake District. Very central location! We absolutely LOVE our home and have enjoyed many fun and special trips here.
The space
The inside space is modern, with two wood burners and Smart TV's. It has four bedrooms - two of which are double rooms with King size beds and two are twin rooms. It has a small cosy living room, beautiful dining room with seating for eight, and three bathrooms. The house was renovated last year, so all bathrooms are kitchen have a nice new feel to them.
We always visit with our two young children so the house is set up with stair gate, high chair, travel cot etc.
Guest access
Set over three floors with two sets of steep stairs.
Notes
Located on a very quiet road, just off Windermere high-street.
The house is professionally cleaned after each stay, so this fee will need to be paid to our incredible cleaner. Bed linen, towels and individual toiletries are also included in this cost. Cleaning fee is £190.

Neighbourhood
Situated in the popular and quaint Lake District town of Windermere, with many great places on your doorstep to visit and enjoy. The house is literally a one minute walk off Windermere high street... the home of Peter Rabbit! And close to beautiful Bowness and Lake Windermere. With plenty of activities on offer. Surrounded by beautiful countryside for hiking, biking and water sports.
Getting to my home
Please note, our home does not come with a parking space and is situated on double yellow lines. You can unload/load your car at the door, and then drive a couple of minutes to a nearby car park. The car parking fee is currently £1 per day (and can be paid via an app so no need to keep visiting the car park).
Although initially off-putting for some, rest assured that we are a family of four with very young children and this is never a problem. Feedback from guests is always positive.
