Neighbourhood
You'll pass a few other houses as you drive down the gravel driveway to the home. Once at the house you are surrounded by the farm with views of pasture and forest. The historic river town of Washington, Missouri is nearby and can meet all of your immediate needs (grocery, restaurants, etc). It also has an active historic downtown. Several wine regions are nearby, notably Augusta, Defiance, Hermann. St. Louis with its many (free) cultural attractions is an hour away.

We are a family of 6 with a passion for travel and experiencing the diversity the world has to offer. We have traveled extensively in the US and abroad, first as a couple and then as a family of 6 (plus sometimes our dog). Most recently we have been overlanding in our self-built 4x4 camper, learning to embrace the art of slow travel. Our children are homeschooled/worldschooled and have flexibility as to when we travel (we often prefer to spend time in places during the shoulder or off season). We love local experiences, food, nature and sometimes city jaunts. We are new to home exchanges, but have used home stays extensively (as a guest and a host). We are open to all locations and look forward to connecting with, and learning from, other fellow travelers.
