Neighbourhood
All homes in this narrow and sunny valley area are on 5 acre parcels. We are the original family who homesteaded this north facing land as farm and ranch in the Steinbeck era beginning with over 100 acres and subdividing over time. What we use now is the best 5 acre wooded plot with a classic California landscape of live and old giant oaks and a view.....did I mention the view? Casle Rock and Mount Toro can be seen from anywhere on the property. We share this land with deer, rabbit. coyote hawk and song birds. We keep no animals at this time. Periodically you can hear the din of Laguna Seca Raceway but our unique location shelters us from the worse noise. We are walking distance to the Chamisal Tennis Club but are not members at this time. Word has it, their restaurant which is open to the public, is quite good and a beautiful walk from the front door.
Nearest airport
Monterey Airport is 15 minutes away.
Getting around
You will need a car. We have great cycling routes in these hills as well as the BLM a few miles away for off road riding.
