General overview
With an outstanding view over the waters of Charlottetown Harbour, where you can watch cruise ships dock, we are centrally located in Pei.
Known as a foodies paradise, with 1 of the best culinary schools in Canada, our red soil and pristine waters provide a bountiful harvest of delicacies. Lobster, oysters, mussels and fish come from our ocean waters and Pei potatoes are world renown.
With a total population of 200,000 spread over 5660 sq. km. Allows for easy exploration. There is also 435 km of walking and biking trail known as the confederation trail. With over 40 lighthouses and the oldest in Canada, built in 1845, is here to discover.

The space
This building was completed in October 2020 and is a highly desired location overlooking Charlottetown harbour. Watch the pleasure boaters and bird life skim and dance across the water and starting in spring of 2022, the cruise ships will begin their eastern seaboard routes and will be visiting the birthplace of Canada.
Our one level apartment consists of an oversized master bedroom with a king bed and a temperpedic mattress. Our smaller 2nd bedroom is used as a tv room, allowing tge living room space to be your quiet haven.
The kitchen consists of all new appliances, fridge, stove/oven, venting microwave, and of course a dishwasher.
The in-house storage area contains a stacking washer and dryer, a storage cabinet, an upright freezer for overflow and holds our ‘light weight workhorse’ Dyson cordless vacuum.
In the basement of the building is our indoor car park with elevator access to our main floor home (1st floor in Canada). There is also an indoor car wash in the garage and all household garbage is gathered in the garage with minimal sorting required. (No need to go outside).
There is also a huge common room for tge residents as well as a large gym.
Guest access
As a new building, your safety is assured. Electronic Key fob door entry, garage door remote, all rooms have sprinkler and carbon monoxide systems installed.
As well as an elevator there are 3 staircases, however as we are located on the main floor, the elevator is all you required to go from our indoor parking spot to the apartment.
Notes
We are a 5 minute walk from groceries, drug store, post office, fast food, restaurants, and barbershop. Within a 5 minute drive is more of the same and that is all 8n our town of Stratford. Over the bridge/water is the city of Charlottetown, the capital of PEI.
Make sure you have an international drivers license ….. here we can get one for $20 and assume it is possible to obtain one in Holland.
We will arrange for the use of our 2020 Kia Soul and help you rent bicycles if you wish.

Getting to my home
Usually we fly via Toronto to Schipol as there is no direct route. However it is sometimes also possible to fly via Halifax Nova Scotia and this route makes it much easier to navigate customs. Halifax is a much smaller international airport than Toronto.
