General overview
We are located in Beaverton, just 15 minutes to downtown Portland. Our beautiful updated 4 bedroom home backs to a forest park, with miles of hiking and biking trails literally out our back door. Very private yard filled with bird song. Public transportation is 2 blocks away. Excellent and very safe family neighborhood. Kitchen, family room and 3 baths all recently remodeled.
The space
2550 sq. Ft of space over 4 bedrooms plus an office, 2.5 baths all updated, great large updated kitchen, living room & open concept family room. Two large HDTV’s with Hulu, Netflix, Prime , plus full channel lineup. The outdoor space is a sanctuary, with beautiful gardens, a lighted patio, fire pit, barbecue grill. Truly feels like a sanctuary, yet do close to the town center of Beaverton
(home of Nike) and Portland. Its all easy care: gardens are fully on sprinklers and a maintenance man twice a month at our expense, just relax and enjoy the beauty and the serenity. We’ll even cover the cost of a housekeeper twice per month.

Our upscale neighborhood is very safe. Not a lot of traffic. We are very centrally located: 10 minutes to Downtown Portland, Oregon Coast beaches 75 minutes away, famous Willamette Valley wine country 30 minutes, Mt Hood Skiing 1.5 hours, Columbia River Gorge less than 1 hour, and fantastic old growth forest hiking and biking within minutes. Over 100 miles of wooded trails within 20 minutes, some literally backing to our property. Oregon is truly one of the world’s most beautiful places.
Getting to my home
MAX light rail from PDX airport, bus line 88, easy driving or Uber/Lyft.
Nearest airport
PDX Portland is a 35 minute drive. Or take the MAX light rail to Elmonica Station.
Getting around
Less than a mile to groceries, pharmacy, restaurants. Etc. Easy walk. Bike or drive.

We are both recently retired. Ken was an executive with media companies such as Discovery Communications and Conde Nast Publications. . Sylvia was a college president and vice president. We are avid travelers and will care for your home as we care for our own. Our kids are grown and we have no pets.
