The property, which consists of two beautifully restored 17th century stone buildings, lies in the midst of rolling Italian countryside less than an hour from Rome and 3 km from the local village. Set in 7 acres (3 hectares), the grounds are lush and abundant, with a swimming pool, landscaped gardens, natural spring, and pond. The property is peaceful, rustic and kept to a very high standard. Designed to reflect the natural environment, this a unique place to recharge and be immersed in nature.
The property overlooks olive groves and fruit trees and has beautiful views. There are terraces from which to watch the stunning sunsets, one with a magnificent wood table that seats 20 people. There are hammocks, swinging loungers in the trees and other places for rest and contemplation.
On two floors, the ground floor has a well equipped kitchen and a separate adjoining smaller kitchen with table (seats 4). Next to this space is an indoor dining area with longer table (seats 10) and sitting room area with a 3 seater sofa and an arm chair.
On the same floor there is 1 double bedroom with half bath and 1 twin bedded room (or can also be a double bed).
The upper floor has a further 2 double bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, sitting area with bench seating, high ceilings and bookcase. There is a large outdoor eating terrace for warmer weather.
Guests have access to the whole house, and if needed there is a second house with an additional 4 bedrooms.
The property feels somewhat remote and yet is not too far from villages and activities. Each local village has its own character and hosts different events throughout the spring, summer and autumn.

A delightful area with medieval villages dotted around the countryside, each with their own characters. There are a number of outside markets, and festivities throughout the year and visits to larger cities of interest - Orvieto, Viterbo, Perugia, Assisi, Todi and Spoleto also possible.
A car is important to get around as there are few local buses and the routes somewhat limited.
The nearest village has every essential so that you do not have to go too far for fruit and vegetables and butcher shops.

I am an avid traveller when I can, mostly Southern Europe but also the Far East and Central America. I am not interested to stay in a city.
I run a yoga retreat centre which operates for half the year so in the winter I am fairly free to travel. The summers are mostly impossible though I can accept small groups or single people during the summer at my place if they are open to other people being around..
Wellness is my interest and I have a wonderful vegetable garden, fruit trees - and we make the most wonderful olive oil.
