Our carriage house is just 3 years old located in an urban residential neighborhood of Denver - just 2 miles from Union Station downtown. It has its own street entrance and own address that is completely separate from our main house to provide your own privacy to come and go. We have thoughtfully furnished this space to ensure a cozy, cottage feel where you can retreat from life or embrace the downtown proximity to a plethora of coffee shops, restaurants, bakeries, breweries, parks and shops surrounding us in the nearby neighborhoods of RINO, Uptown, City Park and Five Points.
We are located in a very diverse, residential neighborhood 1-2 miles from the zoo, Nature & Science museum and Union Station/16th Street mall in the heart of downtown.
We have a beautifully furnished 1 bedroom + 1 sleeper sofa in the living room and 1 full bathroom with bathtub and a tall shower head in an upstairs carriage house with a wall of windows facing a tree lined park. Also, if you have a furry child, we are steps to a fantastic neighborhood DOG PARK where both you and your dog can get plenty of socialization with our wonderful neighbors and their pups! If bringing a pup, there are rules to be followed, so please read below.
We have a washer/dryer in the unit along with new, premium stainless steel appliances, throughout, a 50 inch 4K SMART TV in the living space where, in addition to cable and high speed WiFi, you can access your Netflix, Hulu and other subscription services. We also have a smaller TV in the bedroom for the full R&R experience. As a bonus, we've been complimented on the height of our shower head for tall people and been told often we have the nicest, well stocked vacation rental anyone has ever stayed in! We rent this space on vacation rental platforms and have all 5* reviews. We've tried to think of all your comforts for an enjoyable stay! We also have 2 bikes and 2 helmets we offer once we have a signed waiver in place prior to use.
There is a keyless entry and approximately 20+ stairs from entry point. Guests have street access through a gate to the carriage house.
Dogs (no other pets) are allowed with approval (i.e. weight restrictions given the stairs). We ask that all pets use the restroom across the street at the park - there is no grass on the carriage house grounds, just mulch and stamped concrete.
We ask that all guests adhere to parking requests to be courteous to our neighbors. There is generally available parking right in front of our carriage house.
We have both strong AC and heat, but ask that you be mindful if you're away from the carriage house during a 95 degree day to pull up the shades, raise the temp on the thermostat and ensure windows are closed and locked. If it's cold out, we ask that you leave the shades up for afternoon sunlight to pour in and lower the temp on the thermostat and, again ensure windows are closed and locked. There's nothing worse than guests who are not mindful of someone else's electricity bill for me. Just be courteous, respectful and clean.

Our neighborhood is likely the most diverse and historic neighborhood in all of Denver. It is a highly gentrified area with its easy access to downtown. It has historic victorian homes, Denver square, row homes to new and modern builds taking over. We enjoy walking the neighborhood and STILL love eyeballing all the homes and gardens.
While a car is recommended, parking is easy and in abundance. We've also had many guests take the train and uber during their stay. We have a bus stop located just a quarter block from the door that can take you downtown and the light rail train station 6 blocks (an 8 minute walk) which will take you anywhere light rail extends. We are 2 miles from Union Station downtown, easy access to highways to reach the mountains, a great city to bike, walk, run and stroll to the nearby ice cream shop, restaurant, etc.
