General overview

Located in the lively 19th district, our loft offers a very cozy and quiet respite to any travelling family or group wishing to discover (or rediscover) beautiful Paris. Many interesting things are accessible at less than 10 minutes walk from the loft : the Parc des Buttes Chaumond, Parc de la Villette with its halls, Canal de l'Ourcq with its many restaurants and activities, Paris Philharmony, Cité des Sciences, and so on (web links in later sections).

The space

Our loft is very spacious and sunny with large open spaces. It also benefits from a private alley which provides privacy and quiet from the bustling city life. The loft is at street level and therefore easy to access. The large "american style" kitchen is fully equipped with all the appliances and utensils. A large high-ceiling living room bathed in natural light during daytime is the perfect spot for some quiet reading or relaxing. The basement is equipped with a projector and a PlayStation 4 system for entertainment. There are three bedrooms, among which is a mezzanine, containing 1 queen size bed, 1 single bed and a pair of single bunk beds. Couces in the living room and basement can act as double beds and 2 spare single matresses can also be provided.

Guest access

A metro station is litterally outside the door and connects to everything in Paris, including both airports. Tramway is accessible at 10 minutes walk.

We have three cat that will share the loft with you, but they're adorable. We do NOT have a private parking spot, so cars will require to be parked on the street and requires hourly fees. Other interior parkings offering daily fees are also available nearby.

The neighborhood is very lively and family friendly. It offers a lot of various activities for all ages. Canal de l'Ourcq and Bassin de la Villette have many restaurants and other charming commerces (https://uk.tourisme93.com/swimming-in-bassin-de-la-villette.html). The Parc de la Villette is one of Paris' largest park area and cultural center (https://en.lavillette.com/). For music lovers, the Philharmonie de Paris (https://philharmoniedeparis.fr/en) offers great shows. There are many different activities to do nearby depending on the time of the year.

Getting around

As mentioned earlier, the loft entrance is litterally at the exit of the subway (metro), so all of Paris is easily accessible. Otherwise, every errand can be done walking and don't require a car. The Walk Score web site gives us a score of 99 (Walker's Paradise)! Anything that you require is less than 10 minutes away by foot : grocery store, restaurants, hardware store, cinema, parks, etc.
