General overview

Recently renovated house (2019) with open kitchen, 2 bedrooms on the first floor + office that can be used as a bedroom. On the second floor 1 children's bedroom and large playroom with toys for our children aged 5 and 9. Fully equipped bathroom with bath, walk-in shower and double sink. Master Bedroom has a bed with Tempur mattresses and electrically adjustable slatted base. Toilet on the first floor and ground floor. There is a treadmill in the desk. Equipped with washing machine, dryer, videophony and home automation (heating). The entire house has central heating and there is an extra cozy gas fireplace in the living room. Bicycles (2 adults + 2 children's bicycles) are available in the garage. Sunny city terrace / garden with furniture. Our floor covering consists of parquet and tiles on the ground floor and the upper floor is in cork laminate (no carpets). This house is completely animal-free and allergy-friendly.

Our house is located in the center of Ypres, 400 meters from the Grote Markt, the Menin Gate and the In Flanders Fields Museum. Ypres is a very child-friendly and green city with lots of play and leisure opportunities. Various playgrounds, museums, events, ... In and around Ypres (Ypres) are various monuments, commemorative signs and war sites of the first world war (WWI): eg Tyne Cot Cemetery, Hill 60 + 62, Passchendaele, Pool of Peace, ... In and around Ypres there are many opportunities for cycling and walking. Also various tourist attractions and amusement parks / zoos. Distances to: Brussels 75 minutes, Ghent / Bruges 45 minutes, Amsterdam and Paris 3 hours, Distance to the North Sea: 35 minutes, Lille (Lille) 30 minutes, Vimy: 60 minutes. London is easily accessible by train in 2:30. Supermarkets, hospital, swimming pools, sports zone, shopping streets and all other urban facilities are available within a radius of 1 kilometer.

You can reach Ypres easily by train (1/hour), highway (5km) and by airport (Brussels/Paris, connection by train).

We are a family of 2 adults and 2 children. Jeroen (40) works as social media advisor in Brussels. Evelyne (40) is a teacher in primary school. We have 2 children: one 10-year-old girl who likes to do gymnastics and 1 six-year-old son who likes to turn our Playmobil-attic upside down.
