After 16 years living in the French Quarter, I relocated to the Warehouse District and so glad I did! It’s a very exciting, safe and historically interesting neighborhood. A great balance between plenty of activities, restaurants, bars, and museums (My apartment is two blocks to the World War II Museum) and quiet neighborhood living.

The Warehouse District, also called the New Orleans Arts District, is the heart of downtown New Orleans activity. It’s a bustling neighborhood full of art galleries, museums, bars, hotels, and some of the greatest restaurants in the city, all anchored by the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center and Riverwalk along the Mississippi River near the foot of Canal Street. Lovely 15-minute walk to the French Quarter.
Most people U et or Lyft. City bike rentals are available within a block of the apartment building. Very walkable and street parking in the neighborhood is not too challenging. There are also paid parking lots nearby. Access to the freeway just two blocks away.
