Neighbourhood
Manly is a fun, friendly, safe and outdoorsy neighbourhood in Sydney. There are five beaches within walking distance as well as the famous Manly to Spit coastal walk. Hundreds of great restaurants, cafes, bars and markets to choose from. You won't need to go into the city!
Manly is buzzing from early morning, when the fit and active locals head out for a walk along the beach or swim to Shelly Beach with a group of locals (newbies are welcome to join in the 7am swim!). The area also has a lively nightlife and wonderful weekend atmosphere if you enjoy live music, happy hours and meeting locals.
Getting to my home
From airport, catch the train and then the ferry from Circular Quay.
Taxi or car will take longer in traffic.

Getting around
Everything you need is walking distance. To get to the city or harbour, catch the 15-minute fast ferry to Circular Quay (express service). From the airport, catch a taxi/uber or take the airport train to Circular Quay, then the ferry (faster and cheaper).
We simply loved staying at Louise’s apartment. The view from her front balcony is incredible and her home so comfortable.
We felt secure in the knowledge that no one could hassle us!
Manly is such a vibrant town and the apartment is right in the middle of all the action - without the noise.
Thank you Louise for making your payment available.
Looks like a great location
Louise left our apartment just as she found it - not true really - better than ever is a more adequate description.
Thank you Louise and you would be more than welcome to return at any time.
Louise was staying in our studio in the backyard for a week. She is very easy to communicate with and we really enjoyed getting to know her a bit better while enjoying some wines together!
The studio was left in a very tidy condition and we would love to host her another time.
This studio is a lovely little gem! A compact use of space, with a hidden pull-down bed, comfortable lounge, garden view, and well-equipped kitchen. I stayed here alone for 10 days and loved it.
The neighbourhood is quiet and the location is convenient. There are shops and cafes along the street. It’s a couple of minutes walk to the waterfront, 5 mins down the hill from Potts Point’s bars and restaurants and Kings Cross train station, with a bus outside the door for a quick trip into the city.
Paul and Pamela are easy to communicate with, and they generously stocked the fridge with milk and breakfast foods for my stay.
Looking forward to future swaps :)
Paul and Pamela were dream guests. Easygoing, friendly, and they left the apartment sparkling clean.
Anke and Ye are welcome anytime. Lovely, friendly, considerate couple. Highly recommend!
This great studio is perfect for pampering in Adelaide - a spa bath to relax in, a home cinema to enjoy at night, a comfortable king bed, fresh eggs from the chickens in the backyard chook house, your own section of the garden with private deck, and just a short walk to a beautiful beach and waterfront bars and cafes. Thoughtful special touches, clean and modern. I loved it.
Anke and Ye were the best hosts! They were easy to communicate with and welcomed me with wine. Very helpful, fun and interesting people.
Warning: The pull-down projector screen is so ridiculously big, you will spend too much time watching movies instead of going out! I want one :)
