General overview

Nice open house, lots and lots of toys and games, perfect for a family with children under 13 who want a relaxing and safe place.

The space

Open floor plan with 3 bedrooms and two bathroom. One room has a king size bed and large bathroom with separate tub and shower. One bedroom has a double bed and the other has a queen bed and crib. Living spaces include a playroom, library, family room with TV and fireplace and a large kitchen. Outdoor spaces include a large deck with retractable awning, BBQ and Children’s play equipment (fort, slide, zip line).

Guest access

Split level with 4 floors, 4 step entrance to interior. Not suitable for wheel chairs unfortunately.

My mother lives downstairs. Separate entrance and living but shared laundry.

Neighbourhood

Traditional suburban neighborhood. Extremely safe with lots of children and friendly neighbors. 3 playgrounds within walking distance, ample bike paths and golf course near by. Close to two recreation centers with gym access and large indoor pools. We have two adult bicycles, a bicycle for a 7-10 year old, a strider bike and a towable trailer for a child not ready to ride. 25 minute commuter rail to downtown Denver, 30 minutes by car to scenic mountain hiking, 15 minutes to Old Town Arvada and Golden with cute shops, restaurants, breweries and activities.

Getting around

Will probably need a car, there is a bus stop about .25 miles but bus is not frequent (hourly). Commuter rail to Denver is 3 miles but bike path isn’t complete. Commuter rail has a nice parking area though.
