Entry is strictly 4pm. Please do NOT turn up early unannounced.
Strictly no smoking, pets or hen/stag parties.
Please leave the house as you found it when you leave ie. do your washing up, clean the oven and make sure you've left nothing behind on departure.
No take-away curries please as we have had to replace rugs, tablecloths and cushions due to turmeric stains!
Please be considerate to neighbours particularly when sitting out in the garden in the evenings.

Stockbridge is probably the most desirable place to be in Edinburgh. It is very central and extremely pretty with its Georgian architecture and cobbled streets. Packed with Interesting independent shops, delis, cafes, top class restaurants and only a 10 min walk into central Edinburgh.
There is probably nowhere nicer to stay than this 'village.'
Each weekend, Stockbridge has its own very popular market.
Buses are plentiful and there is a bus stop into town at the end of Ann street. Taxis can be hailed from Stockbridge easily or you can ring for one.
There is free parking on Ann street on weekends and during the week between 5.30pm and 8.30am. Outside these times, there is metered parking in neighbouring streets.
For longer stays, there is the option of a long-stay car park (about 10 mins walk away) which is about £20- £30 a day. Alternatively you can leave your car at the long-stay airport car park which is around £10 a day.
Parking in Edinburgh is very difficult and you are better off parking your car for your stay and walking/taking public transport in the city as we are very central.
