We are lucky to have a fabulous view over Sydney Harbour, to the city and across Sirius Cove. At night we hear the lions roar at Taronga Zoo. We have Balmoral beach at one end of our street and a ferry to the city at the other. It's 2 ferry rides to Manly surf beach or an easy car trip.
The space
We have 3 bedrooms available with 2 x king beds and 1 x queen. There is an ensuite to the main plus two other full bathrooms. We have two separate living areas including a large loft space on the third level for teenagers. We live in a premium area of Sydney which looks directly onto the water and you can even get a peak at the harbour bridge from our front gate. The fourth bedroom is set up as a gym and we would probably use it to store some of our things during an exchange so it would not be available.
Guest access
This is a 3 storey house and there are also steps down from the street. It is therefore not disability friendly unfortunately. It is also not suitable for young children.

Neighbourhood
This is a gorgeous part of Sydney. We are lucky enough to have access to everything the harbour offers. You can walk to Balmoral Beach in 25 minutes, and Manly Beach is a short drive away (or two ferries). The famous Taronga Zoo is a 20 minute walk across the bay and we often hear the animals, usually the monkeys, seals and lions. There is also a harbour beach directly below the house.
Getting to my home
You would fly into Sydney airport. We are easily accessible by bus (stops two doors away) or ferry. While a car isn't required, it is a better experience for a tourist. Due to insurance issues, we would not be offering a car with any exchange.
Nearest airport
Sydney's Kingsford Smith airport is 16 kms away. You can come via taxi or catch a train and a ferry.
Getting around
The closest shops are a 10 minute walk, but everything is very close by.
