We live in a bright, light, quiet, cosy bungalow, in walking distance to local shop, pubs and river. Cycling distance into the centre of York (3 miles along cycle track) where there's LOADS happening!
Guest access
There's a main double bedroom and you are welcome to use the spare room for storing stuff. It's got a sofa bed in it but as it's only small we only use it in emergencies. Really it's my dressing room!!!
Notes
Loads of parking if you come by car (or hire one) and you can use our bikes.

Neighbourhood
Excellent local shop, a butchers, a couple of cafes and hairdressers in village. Two great pubs and a third about 1/2 mile away by the river. About £10 to get a taxi into the centre of York or you can walk in 50 mins. Also a good bus service.
Nearest airport
Leeds Bradford is closer but Manchester better - you can get a direct train to/from York station. Alternatively trains from Kings Cross (London) only take 2hrs so Heathrow and Gatwick easily accessible.
