Our home is a beautiful and modern decorated in a Scandinavian style. It is a very cozy apartment with a good atmosphere. The neighbourhood is quiet and family friendly with two playgrounds in the same street. The garden is small but nice. The apartment is located close to the main sights of Reykjavík and it only takes about 25 minutes to walk into the centre. The main bus terminal in Reykjavík, where you can catch a ride to and from the airport or hop on a bus that takes you to see the main sights in the South part of Iceland (The golden circle, Blue Lagoon), is just about 7-10 minutes walk away. There is also a local transportation bus stop 2 min walk away, making traveling in Reykjavík very comfortable and easy.
We have a wonderful persian/norwegian forest cat named Mía. She is very kind but likes to keep to her self. Thus our home is not allergy free but Mía can stay at our families place when we travel.

Our apartment is situated in a quiet and family friendly neighbourhood. Two playgrounds are in the same street and tow public gardens are in the area. The main centre is just about a 25 minute walk where you can find gourmet restaurants, shops, bars and cafés and the main tourist attractions in Reykjavík. The biggest mall in Iceland is located just about a 1 km away and it takes about 15 min to walk there. The main museums are also in the area so it is close to the cultural life as well.
