We would love to share our beautiful mountain home with you so you can appreciate the relaxing, peaceful, adventuresome life that Colorado has to offer. Our California-modern architectural home is located 29 miles (47 Km) in the foothills west of Denver.
Our south facing home is located on a quiet culdesac with beautiful mountain views, backing up to 1000 acres of open space forests and hiking trails to explore. Watch for local wildlife visitors in the form of elk, deer, fox and a variety of birds. In the morning enjoy your coffee or tea from the cozy sofa or the open deck that gives you expansive views of the forested mountains, and watch the native birds flock to the nearby feeder. In the summer, an abundance of flowers and shrubs decorate the perennial gardens that surround the house. Start your evening on the secluded, shaded back patio amidst flower gardens, crank up the BBQ grill, turn on the string lights above you, and relax under the Colorado sunset. Before bed, retire to the fabulous front deck for some star gazing in the clear high- altitude night skies!
Our 2600 sq.ft. cozy home (270 sq.meters) has an open floor plan with loads of sunshine and comfortable living. The upstairs has hardwood floors throughout with a large living/dining/kitchen area, extra full bath and master bedroom with queen size bed and ensuite full bath. The fully carpeted downstairs area has plenty of light that brightens up the family room equipped with large flatscreen TV, big sectional sofa/bed, antique round table for games, full bath, guest bedroom with queen size bed, and laundry room. Both levels have gas fireplaces for instant warmth and ambience on chilly days and nights. We are non-smokers and ask that you don't smoke in our home or anywhere on the premises. Also, we are a shoeless house and request that you use the slippers provided to keep our home clean and you cozy!
The space
Our home has beautiful mountain views from the front deck, and cozy patio at the back. The interior is open and spacious.
Guest access
We have 2 full floors of living space. The upper level has the kitchen, living (gas fireplace), dining and master bedrooms and rbi bath rooms. The lower level is also very comfortable with a large living space (gas fireplace) TV, bedroom, bath and utility room.
Notes
Our home is very relaxing and quiet. The town of Evergreen is a short drive away, where you can hike, play golf, go to restaurants and rent paddle boards on the lake. It is a true rustic mountain town, just 20 miles (32 km) outside of Denver.

We are adventurous world travelers with a love of biking and exploring new cultures, food and wine! We lived in Europe for five years and now live back in the U.S. again.
Both of us are retired, working in the music and engineering fields. Our careers took us into the government sector as well as teaching, writing and music education/performance. We are now free to travel the world!
