General overview

Our home is in a Santa Rita Springs, Green Valley, Arizona. With views of the mountains and desert landscaping, our home is decorated with modern and older Indian and southwestern art, multimedia framed art, traditional art painting, signed prints, modern Indian art works, Indian statues and a Cloud Maiden water fountain, pottery, kachinas (Navajo, Hopi and Zuni) . Sky lights, 10 ft. ceilings, lots of windows, both for view and light make this airy comfortable home. Reference books, 2 modern systems with direct cable internet hookup, digital tv system with digital cable , duo-reclining seat leather sofa, water filtration system, central air conditioning/heating, modern kitchen well-equipped for the cook, and bar in great room make this an easy home in which to relax! There are two outside patios, one a front walled entry and a back porch overlooking the Rita Mountains, with B. B. Q, fountain, Indian Grandmother bench, and outdoor "Arizona Room" living area on the porch.

Located at an elevation of 2, 900 feet, midway between Tucson and Nogales, Mexico, Green Valley is rich in historic lore and blessed with abundant sunshine, more than 300 sunny days a year. The high elevation frequently assures a cooler climate than Tucson or Phoenix.

Annual temperatures average 80 degrees during the daytime and 50 degrees at night, making the area a major attraction for visitors who flock here to enjoy outdoor activities all year long. Bird watching, hiking, casinos, cultural activities, shopping, relaxing, taking courses at the Green Valley Recreation Center, swimming, socializing, and desert life in Southern Arizona are just a few of the draws to this WARM area!

Marty is a retired engineer and Carrell is a retired Nurse Practitioner. We love home exchanges and have had 70+! We to find it what it is like to "live there".
