General overview

Nice, 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom ground level condo in Ft. Myers, FL. We are having some updates done to the kitchen and bathrooms winter 2022 and new photos will be added when complete. I spend half the year here and the other half between travel and up north near family. The condo is in a gated community and we have a community pool. It's within walking distance to a Super Target with groceries and everything you need, about 15 minute drive to Ft. Myers Beach, about 20 minutes drive to Sanibel. Plenty of restaurants and shops in the area.

The space

The main living space is fairly open with two sitting areas and an eating/dining area. The kitchen is a galley kitchen. The main bedroom has a king bed and TV with an ensuite bathroom and large closet. Second bedroom has a queen bed, bureau and closet, and the smallest bedroom has two bunk beds for the kiddos (bureau but no closet). There is a second full bath with shower. Simple but stylish furnishings.

Guest access

The whole condo is at ground level and we have a single car driveway and a garage for 1 small car. The community is gated and I enter guest details into our system so that you enter by showing your ID to the gate camera to be let in. I use a lockbox.

Notes

We have a community pool with a hot tub about 7 houses away and keep a pool key at the house. I also leave a mailbox key and if guests can grab my mail and leave it during their stay it's appreciated!

Our area of the gated community is quiet with mostly older residents.  We have lovely neighbors next door that look out for my place while I'm away. Nearby there are tons of restaurants and fun places and I have a sheet of my favorites that I'm happy to share.

Getting to my home

Our local airport is RSW (Southwest Florida, Ft. Myers). It's about 35 minute drive and you can Uber to my home or rent a car. Getting to my place using Waze or Google maps is easy with the address.  When getting to my unit, I have a lockbox on the door handle with the key inside.

Getting around

You do need a car getting around this area and I do not provide one. There are a few things within walking distance: the Super Target is a full grocery store and has clothing, bathing suits, suntan lotion, etc. You can also walk to a few restaurants from my house. But ultimately it would be difficult to really enjoy your stay without a car.
