General overview

Welcome to the oldest Staufer Town. The flat is located near ‘Himmelsgarten’ landscape park, a perfect place to visit this years Garden Show. It has easy commute to Stuttgart and Nurnberg. The small town has all the amenities including a swimming pool opened by Bud Spencer. Discover Remstal and unwind in Schwabish Albs. If you are seeking a romantic holiday, famous Neuschwanstein Castle is just 2 hours drive away.

The space

Please note that this is a second home, all newly furnished in white. It is simple but has everything you need. About 60 square metre flat is on the second floor of a small house. There is enough space for 4 but prefer maximum two adults with one child or two younger children due to sleeping arrangements. The built in kitchen is fully equipped, dining table for six people (four chairs only), owen, hob, microwave, fridge freezer, kettle, sandwich maker, espresso machine, mixer, no dishwasher. Bedroom has a double bed with two bed side tables, radio alarm, two wardrobes with drawers, a big mirror. Living room sofa opens to a double bed. TV with WiFi, sideboard, book shelves, a small study desk, a printer. Bathroom has a shower cubicle, toilet and wash basin. Hot water is available constantly. Washing machine is in the cellar and not shared. Iron and ironing board is available. Bed linen and towels are provided. The garden has variety of apple trees and a grill. You can park in front of the house, there is always parking available free of charge.

The flat is near famous Weleda garden if you are interested in botanicals. Enjoy inexpensive skiing at the mountains nearby and ice skating in the town centre during winter months.

Getting around

Main train station is only 20 minutes walk or bus station two minutes away from the door. Daily trips with direct train to Stuttgart, Karlsruhe (absolutely must see) Nurnberg and with one change to Munich or Neuschweinstein Castle via Nurnberg. Shops, banks, post, theatre, cinema, bike rentals, swimming pools (winter and summer), language schools, an English ballet school, doctors and hospitals are all within walking distance, no car is necessary.

Hi, I am a past middle age British mum with a teenage bookworm who is a ski and sail enthusiast. We will exchange mainly for cultural and language purposes. We do not smoke and have no pets but love cats. We are very tidy and respect others private sphere. Exchange home is our second home near Stuttgart and available during school holidays. Our main home is in Frankfurt, we may be able to host you for a day, depending on availability. Prefer England, Scotland, France, Italy, Canada and China but other countries will be considered too.
