The Dutch city of Leiden Holland is a picturesque community located in the tulip-growing district in the Netherlands. Home to the oldest university in the country and close to The Hague, Amsterdam and Rotterdam. Many tourists visit Leiden during the tulip season which runs from March to May.
I live on a quiet (one way) street with at the end everything you need (restaurants/supermarkets etc) so I can walk everywhere, which is great. It is opposite the trainstation, but there is no free parking as it is the city centre so all paid parking. Leiden has a lot of museums, historic buildings and churches as well as a lot of canals (similar to Amsterdam but smaller and more friendly). Close to the tulip fields (Keukenhof), Delft, Amsterdam and Rotterdam. Basically the train takes you anywhere.
Walking distance to everything :) Leiden info: https://www.visitleiden.nl/en/plan-your-visit/information/tourist-information-centre my country: https://www.holland.com/global/tourism/discover-holland.htm
