Our open plan loft was a corner grocery store from the 1920's through the 50's.
The loft is airy and spacious with 10' ceilings. It is almost 1000 sq. feet in size and has a bank of windows that lets in lots of light. The Queen bed has a Tuft and Needle mattress, cotton sheets and a down duvet. One of the sofas folds out flat, and can sleep one person comfortably. There is air conditioning. The space is filled with original art, and on display are some of my collections from around the world - colorful textiles, pink ceramics and hand carved wood sculptures. many of the light fixtures are vintage finds and some of the furniture is original mid-century modern.
The loft has no steps inside, but there is one step up to the front door outside.
The Smart TV has Netflix, amazon etc. There is a hi-fi system with a great collection of jazz and 80's new wave records. There is a drawer with kids toys and arts and craft supplies

Beacon hill on the south end of downtown Seattle, is a diverse, friendly and quiet neighborhood. Many restaurants, coffee shops, pubs, a brewery, grocery store are just a short walk from the loft. Nearby Jefferson park has big grassy play areas, a playground, tennis courts, golf course, skateboard park and a community center. Lake Washington is a 5 minute drive.
There is plenty of free parking right in front of the loft if you decide to rent a car. The lightrail (train) station is a 7 minute walk away. You can catch the lightrail from Seatc (our airport) so you don't need a car, but you can always get an Lyft or Uber (like taxi service with an app) if you need one. Downtown Seattle is just 10-15 minutes away by car, 20 min by lightrail. Seatac airport is 20 minutes away by car during light traffic times.

We are open to the world...whatcha got? :) Our son wants to see the Legohouse, so Denmark is definitely in the cards. We have had several successful home exchanges on another platform. We love hosting! We are airbnb superhosts and our Loft is part of the Airbnb Plus program.
