Location, location, location! This comfortable, breezy two story home is in a prime location to create a successful holiday. Located in the beautiful town of Kalamata, (short listed as a 2021 European Capitol of Culture candidate), this space is large enough to accommodate larger families and everything you need can be found on foot. After a quick 230 meter walk you find yourself at the port of Kalamata which begins a 4 km promenade stretch of beautiful blue flag beaches, beach bars and tavernas. All of this is set against the backdrop of the 2nd tallest mountain in Greece, Mt. Tayegetus.
Der Raum
The home occupies the entire 3rd and 4th floor of a five story building. On the upper lever the master bedroom has a queen bed, AC, and walk out balcony. Also on the upper level is the master bath and two additional bedrooms with twin beds, AC and walk out balconies. On the lower level you will find the fourth bedroom and a small, but functional full bath. In the salon both sofas turn into beds of very high quality.
Gastzugang
Both the 3rd and 4th floor have a main entrance and are serviced by elevator.
Anmerkungen
Most people fly into Athens and make the quick 2 hr drive to Kalamata, but the city also has a small international airport as well. Kalamata is serviced by numerous low cost airlines during the summer months of May-Sept.

Within one block you will find a wood fueled bakery, a pharmacy, ice cream store, pizzaria, souvlaki, public transportation, coffee shops, bicycle rental, and minimarket. Within two blocks you will find an amazing local Greek taverna, a supermarket, and ATM. In 3 minutes time you will find yourself at the port with endless choices of tavernas, beaches, and cafeterias. Going the opposite direction you can follow a pedestrian/bike path through the train park to the main square of the city, located 1 km from the house. The main square is lined with shops, cafeterias and eateries. The main square leads to a pedestrian zone and the "old city" which is host to several museums, churches, and tavernas. All of these places are quite accessible by foot from the house or by bicycle.
Rumkommen
You can travel quite easily the city of Kalamata by foot, bike, public transportation or car. There are many bike paths throughout the city and an electric bike share where bikes can be rented for a small fee. One block from the house there is a bicycle store that rents non electric bikes by the hour/day/week.
